Del Piero staying at Juve

Despite saying he would consider a move to London, and interest from Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea, Alessandro Del Piero has now stated that he will be remaining at Juventus for at least another season.

Reading between the lines though it is an order that has come from above, rather than from Coach Capello. Juventus official Antonio Giraudo stated in an interview with Radio Anch`io lo Sport:

"It is our objective to build a strong and competitive squad, both on the domestic and international scene."

"I can say that Del Piero, contrary to what is being said by some, will still be in our colours next season."
