Roma capture Bayern defender.

Bayern München defender and former Newcastle United target Samuel Kuffour has signed for AS Roma on a free transfer. He previously lived in Italy and was signed by Torino Calcio incredibly aged just 13.

He was part of the Bayern side that won the UEFA Champions League in 2001. Twice Ghanaian footballer of the year, he becomes Roma’s second signing of the summer following the capture of Brazilian winger Rodrigo Taddei.
