Roma’s Antonio Cassano will soon be a Juventus player according to reports in the Italian press, all that remains to be done is for Juventus to raise the funds need it to bring him to Turin.
Roma have reportedly accepted a cash offer in the region of 18 million euros for the player, which Juventus hope to raise with the sales of Fabrizio Miccoli and Marcelo Zalayeta.
The transfer has been looking likely for some time now, with Capello and Cassano openly courting each other in the press, now it just looks like a matter of time before the two, who state they have a father son relationship are once again united.
What it will mean for Del Piero though is at this moment anyone’s guess, he has been reassured of his future at Turin, but he runs the risk of becoming an increasingly peripheral figure at the club.
