Stuttgart turn down Arsenal offer for star

Stuttgart have admitted that they received an offer from Arsenal for Alexander Hleb and that they turned it down. The offer was believed to be in the region of five million pounds and could just be the opening.

Arsene Wenger holds the 24-year-old Belarus international in very high regard and sees him as the ideal candidate to boost his midfield following Edu’s exit.
