Trapattoni Forced to Germany

Giovanni Trapattoni has been forced to accept the job at Stuttgart after failing to get a job in Italy.

The 66-year-old wanted a return to Italy, potentially with Lazio or Roma, but this led to nothing.

 

Although not in the country he wanted, Trapattoni has landed the coaching job with German-giants, Stuttgart, where he now had a 2-year-contract.

 

This is the third managing stint for Trapattoni in Germany, after 2 periods with Bayern Munich, one of which ended up with Munich as Bundesliga Champions in 1997.
