Candela burning for Udinese

French defender Vincent Candela has confirmed that he will not be with Bolton next season, he completed a short term contract with Bolton and has now decided to return to Italy stating:

"The chance to play in the Champions League gives me a lot of joy."

"You will see that I will not be a disappointment."

And Bolton’s official website confirmed the news with a brief statement which read:

"Bolton can confirm that Vincent Candela will not be joining the club after the French defender penned a deal with Italian outfit Udinese."
