Owen getting set to return to England?

Manchester United are being widely mooted as the club Michael Owen will return to should he leave Spain. Although he insists in public that he is happy at Real Madrid and does not want to leave, the Spanish press are confident that he will in fact return to the Premier league in the summer.

Wanderley Luxemburgo is confident of landing Brazilian starlet Robinho, and should that happen, it will spell the end for Owen’s time at the El Santiago Bernebeu.

Newcastle United and Arsenal still have not given up their pursuit of the player, but a chance to link up with international strike partner Wayne Rooney could just tip the balance in Manchester United’s favour.
