Berlusconi: Gilardino will stay at Parma

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has stated to La Gazzetta dello Sport that he firmly expects star striker Alberto Gilardino to remain at Parma, saying not only that they are pricing him out of the market, but that Parma’s new owners a joint Swiss-English venture would want to hold on to him.

'I have already had a look at this and the tip is right about Gilardino.

He will stay at Parma, not just because he is too expensive, but also that he will not be placed on the market. Parma’s new owners will want such a valuable player to stay with them.'
