Liverpool bag midfielder

Boudewijn Zenden is now a Liverpool player, he agreed to join them after leaving Premiership rivals Middlesbrough after two seasons.

Liverpool spokesman Ian Cotton stated:

"Bolo Zenden has passed his medical. We have reached an agreement with the player and expect the contract to be signed on Monday morning."

And in one of these twists that the fixture list throws up, Zenden’s first Premiership game for Liverpool will be against Middlesbrough on August 13.
