Milan or Spurs for Vieri?

It looks to have come to a straight choice between AC Milan and Spurs for Christian Vieri after a move to Newcastle went belly up.

He was originally linked with a move away from Italy, but speculation is growing that he is about to perform an about face and sign for Inter's neighbours AC Milan.

Spurs were being touted as a destination for the recently released star, and talk that he would favour a move to London helped fuel that speculation. But all the talk in Italy now is of a shock move to Milan.

The only sticking point would appear to be Milan already have adequate cover in that department and Vieri will not be happy sitting on the bench, and will be seeking assurances, that Milan may just not be able
to provide.
