Juventus to meet Arsenal for Vieira?

Juventus officials are strongly rumoured to be meeting with their counterparts at Arsenal, over a deal to take Patrick Vieira to Italy.

Luciano Moggi and vice-president Roberto Bettega are said to be already in London and are willing to pay 12 million pounds plus players to lure the Arsenal star away from North London.

The seemingly Middlesbrough bound Stephen Appiah could be one of those players and French defender Jonathan Zebina mentioned as another possibility.

Whether Arsenal are prepared to part with Vieira is open to debate, but Juventus must have been given some encouragement, if they have travelled this far.
