Rangers grab French starlet

Rangers have signed French teenage striker Dany N'Guessan on a two-year deal from French club Auxerre, after the youngster impressed Ibrox bosses on a trial, his agent Emmanuel Maboang is predicting a big future for his young star:

"Dany was wanted by Bordeaux and Valencia but he wanted to come to Rangers because they are a great club.

"He came to Rangers for a trial, they liked him and he was impressed by the club.

"He signed for two years and Alex McLeish has told me he wants him in the first team quickly."
