Inter enter Figo race

After Liverpool failed to secure the signing of Luis Figo, Inter have decided it is time to try their hand. Despite Figo publicly insisting that he would favour a move to the Premiership with Liverpool.

Inter Milan are willing to tempt his and Real Madrid’s resolve by offering €3 million for the player.

Although there seems little doubt Figo would prefer life in the Premiership to life in Serie A, he may have little choice, should he want first team football next season, and Real are not prepared to go back on their valuation of a player, Liverpool understood to be available on a free.
