Stefano Fiore will play for Fiorentina next season, after a quick negotiation between the Italian team and Valencia, the owner. After the loan is over, Fiorentina will have an option to buy the player.

The 30-year-old midfielder spent a year in Valencia and never adapted to the Spanish league. He was unable to show his worth and quality as he did in Lazio. He only played 20 matches for the Spanish team and scored 2 goals.

Fiore’s manager Federico Pastorello stated:

“An agreement was reached quickly. We spoke again on Sunday but there was no trouble. There are only a couple of details to solve between the player and Valencia, but I don´t think there will be any problem.”

Italian media say that the player agreed to a big cut in his wage in order to move to Fiorentina.
