Spurs in for Real Madrid ace?

Spurs are lining up a bid for Spanish international midfielder Guti. Guti has been unable to hold down a regular starting place at Real Madrid and is understood to want to move.

He was heavily tipped to move to Juventus but, the two clubs were unable to agree a fee, but now Spurs are said to be willing to place a bid of Five million pounds up, to attempt to lure Guti to White Hart Lane.
