Spurs agree fee for defender

Spurs have today agreed a fee with Hamburg for Cameroon international Thimothee Atouba, the fee although publicly undisclosed is tought to be in the region of 1.5 million pounds.

A statement on the clubs official site read:

"We have agreed a deal with Hamburg for the transfer of Thimothee Atouba, subject to the player finalising personal terms."

"The Cameroon international has travelled to Germany to finalise those terms."

He joined spurs on a free transfer from FC Basle back in August last year.
