Monaco striker fancies Arsenal switch

Monaco striker Emmanuel Adebayor has stated that he would like to move from Monaco with Arsenal being one of his preferred destinations.

"I want respect - I have propositions from great and ambitious clubs and Monaco has to understand that."

"Marseille, PSG and Arsenal are prestigious clubs. I feel they trust me.

"A departure remains a possibility. I have no preferences between staying in France or trying an adventure in England with Arsenal.

"I am waiting to meet my officials to know more. I only had phone calls with them, but it has been positive.

"It is obvious we have to change something in my contract. When a player is not happy with his situation, then he can say it.

"In such a case, it is useless to keep him against his will."
