Premiership pair battle for Spanish star

Spurs and Everton are both chasing the signature of Real Madrid ace Guti. Guti is looking to leave Madrid, frustrated at the lack of first team chances, but at this moment is thought to be reluctant to leave Spain.

He currently has three years of his Real Madrid contract to run, but feels he would rather be playing regular football elsewhere, than warm the bench of the Spanish giants.

He has hinted though that he would consider a move to England and this has alerted both Spurs and Everton to the chase.
