PSV Set To Lose Lee

PSV have accepted the fact that they are going to lose Young-Pyo Lee. Guus Hiddink had still hopes to persuade Lee to stay at the Eindhoven outfit but Lee seems determined to leave after he rejected PSV's latest contract offer.

Manchester United was suddenly being named as a canditate to sign Lee, a week ago, but this was only speculation. The English giants never contacted PSV about Lee, French side AS Monaco on the other hand made a enquiry before and are now stepping up their interest again. Monaco's interest is very serious at this point and it's being believed that a delegation of Monaco officials are in Holland today to negiotiate a deal.

The 28-year old left back had two difficult seasons with PSV untill he was a major asset last season with eye catching performances in both domestic and European comeptitions.

The exodus at PSV is taking shape with Van Bommel (Barcelona, Vogel (AC Milan), Park (Manchester United) and Lee leaving and Brazilian defender Alex being linked to a move away from the Phillips Stadium. Internationale are interested after they failed to sign Walter Samuel from Real Madrid and Christian Chivu from AS Roma.
