Spurs target joins Fenerbahce

Juventus midfielder Stephen Appiah has tonight decided to join Fenerbahce in a deal worth eight million euros, the news was confirmed by Juve managing director Luciano Moggi on the ANSA news agency.

The midfielder was the subject of interest from several premiership clubs including most recently Spurs, and was quoted as late as yesterday as saying he would be tempted into a move to London.

His place at Juventus looked to be one of limited chances following the arrival of Patrick Vieira from Arsenal for 20 million euros.
