Liverpool midfielder set to miss the start of the

Harry Kewell is getting set to miss the start of the season with Liverpool after it was revealed that he was in need of a hernia operation. It is the latest in a long line of setbacks for the former Leeds man.

He limped out of the UEFA Champions League victory over Milan with a groin problem which required an operation and there were hopes he would be fit, but this has not materialised
