Shevchenko ‘no move to Chelsea’

Andriy Shevchenko has totally denied reports that he was on the verge of a move to Chelsea. The reports follow a falling out with Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, but Shevchenko stressed he was not about to move anywhere.

“I’m not going anywhere. Well, I don’t want to go anywhere else than here. I love Milan and Milan loves me. That’s all I need to know to decide.”

He also said of his conversations with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, whenever his ‘friend’ tries to persuade him to Chelsea:


”I always tell him, ‘Roman, we can’t speak about these things. First of all I have to respect the club. If Milan don’t want to sell me, I won’t leave.”
