Spurs to bid for Auxerre striker?

Spurs have reportedly made an enquiry for troubled Auxerre striker Benjamin Mwaruwari. The player known simple as Benjani, is currently refusing to train with Auxerre, while he attempts to get himself a move away from the French club.

Spurs will face competition from Lyon and Everton, but are said to be confident that they can convince the 26 year old to move to London.

Auxerre and Benjani will be having a meeting later on in the week to sort out his future.
