Inter confirm Everton interest

Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti has confirmed in an interview that Inter are in talks with both Spurs and Everton over the future of winger Andy Van der Meyde.

Moratti stated:

"We have been dealing with Everton and Tottenham over the futures of Davids and Van der Meyde."

Of course Spurs have now landed Davids and still hope to land Van der Meyde, but Everton will be hoping that the lure of Champions league football will be enough to lure him to Everton.
