Spurs to land the flying Dutchmen?

Spurs should later today land the Dutch pair of Edgar Davids and Andy van der Meyde from Inter Milan. Davids was as good as deal done, but now it looks like they have added van der Meyde to a Dutch spending spree.

Inter chief, Massimo Moratti was earlier quoted as saying:

"We have been dealing with Everton and Tottenham over the futures of Davids and Van der Meyde.”

Now Van Der Meyde's agent, Chiel Dekker, has chipped in as well stating:

"At the moment there is nothing official, but Andy wants to move on as he has been at Inter for two years and he wants to get back to how he was at Ajax and play regular football.”

But all the indicators point to it being a Spurs double and short of a last minute change of heart for either of the players it looks like its going to be an interesting day ahead in North London.
