Henry: we can cope

Newly promoted Arsenal captain Thierry Henry admitted that it will be strange walking out of the tunnel before games knowing Patrick (Vieira) isn't among the team. But the European topscorer is convinced that Arsenal can cope with the loss of their former captain.

Vieira's departure to Juventus left a massive hole in the Arsenal midfield and the North-London outfit already made approaches to replace the big French man but those approached failed.

One of Arsenal's top targets Julip Baptista snubbed Arsenal for Real Madrid a few days ago.

Vieira led Arsenal to many trophies in his eight year stint with the club and it's now time for Henry to led the Gunners to new succces in a new era.

The new Arsenal skipper admitted that the team have lost experience with Vieira's departure but he is convinced the squad can cope with that.

Arsenal manager Arséne Wenger still need to fill the hole Vieira left and he will be very active searching for a replace but it remains to be seen whether Arsenal find the perfect replacement in time for the season starts.
