Inter Close to Sign Samuel

Walter Samuel is about to finally leave Madrid to join Inter Milan. The Italian team will pay 16 million euros instead of arranging a loan, and the Argentine defender will play for them for the next four years. Figo is also very close to follow Santiago Solari’s steps.

Walter Samuel, who will be joining the ‘Nerazzurri’ once he passes his medical, stated:

“I joined Real Madrid to win, but we had no success, although I don’t want to create any trouble.”

“In Madrid they didn’t believe in me, but luckily I found Inter, that is betting on my future.”

“Inter has spent a lot of money in me, and nowadays that is not easy, so I must be even more committed with the team.”

“ I know the other defenders in the squad and I don’t think we’ll need miracles, but just harmony between us; I must fit in the team.”

Regarding Figo’s situation, Samuel said:

“Figo has told me about the possibility of coming to Inter.”

“He is still very enthusiastic, I hope he does come, he always wants to win.”

This way, The Argentine defender will be following his comrade Solari’s steps, and maybe Figo too.
