Samuel Completes Inter Move

Walter Samuel has completed an £11 million move from Real Madrid to Inter Milan.

Samuel passed a medical yesterday and made the move to the Italian giants.

 

The 27-year-old has signed a 4 year contract and is eligible for a Champions League qualifier leg against Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.

 

Last summer, Samuel joined Madrid for £18.5 million but failed to win over the fans in Spain. This consequently leaves Madrid with a £7.5 million loss on the defender.

 

Samuel said:

 

"We have a very strong squad and all we have to find is the right team spirit to win the championship,"

 

"I don't feel we are far behind the likes of Juve and Milan. They have both made good signings but Inter have also strengthened the squad. I believe we start on a par with them."
