Newcastle United: Return of the Peruvian?

Newcastle United and Atletico Madrid are both after Nolberto Solano his agent Horacio Jáuregui, stated today to the Peruvian press:

"A great club is interested in Solano. I cannot say the name of this club. This season is his last at Aston Villa and several clubs are interested, Newcastle even want him to return."

A lot of people of Tyneside were disappointed when Sir Bobby Robson sold Solano to Aston Villa, and Nobby remains a popular figure on Tyneside.
