French defender jets into Rangers

Rangers have completed the signing of Julien Rodriguez from Monaco, with the central defender costing the Scottish giants one million pounds.

Rodriguez has spent all of his career at Monaco, coming up through the youth ranks to eventually captain the side last season.

McLeish lost out on his main target of Sotirios Kyrgiakos, but has moved quickly to tie up this deal.
