Injury Crisis at Juve

Italian giants Juventus are having a mini injury crisis with 5 starters injured at the moment.

In the past week, Alessandro Birindelli, Giorgio Chiellini and Jonathan Zebina have all fallen injured.

Chiellini lasted just 5 minutes in a pre-season friendly against Benfica with a suspected broken nose.

His replacement, Birindelli, also got injured during the match, with possible ligament damage in his right knee.

Zebina never went to Portugal in the first place, and Zambrotta has a foot injury he is struggling to overcome.

Recent singing Robert Kovac has a muscle problem too leaving Juve coach Fabio Capello with few options ahead of the Italian Super Cup against Inter Milan next weekend.
