Saviola Must Forget Espanyol Move

Barcelona’s technical secretary Txiki Begiriastain has told Javier Saviola that he will not be sold to rivals, Espanyol.

Txiki has said that Saviola will remain at the Nou Camp if there are no other transfer options apart from Espanyol.

 

Txiki said:

 

"He has already been told that if another club should come in for him then things will be easily sort out,"

 

"But Espanyol is a rival of ours from the same city and that makes things different. If we had 15 offers on the table then there would be no problem. 

"Saviola will train with Barcelona on Tuesday because it will be difficult to find a solution to his before then.

"The main problem is that he wants to join Espanyol, but he knows out position on that. When he forgets about Espanyol we will be able to sort all this out."
