Figo’s Reasons for Liverpool Snub

Luis Figo has revealed why he snubbed Liverpool and elected for a move to Inter Milan instead.

A deal was almost done, but came to a halt when Madrid wanted £2 million for Figo.

 

There was still hope for a move, but Figo, in the meantime, penned a contract with Italian giants Inter Milan.

 

Figo said:

 

''I had a great offer from Liverpool and they were really interested in me,''

 

''But as soon as I arrived in Milan my mind was made up. They treated me like a friend and I felt at home from the start. I now want to win everything at Inter.''
