Zaragoza is very interested in signing Diego Milito, who is free from Genoa, since they were relegated to Serie C. The Argentine forward is very keen on continuing his career in Spain together with his brother Gabriel, who also plays in the team and rejected an offer from Liverpool.

Diego Milito had a great campaign scoring 22 goals last season, in which Genoa won promotion, but then was relegated to Serie C1 because of arranging the results. This way, the player is now free from the Italian team and Zaragoza are very close to signing him. But also Juventus and Inter have set their eyes on him, but so far they have not moved.

The Spanish team lost three strikers as well as Luciano Galletti, and need to strengthen the attack. Milito is called to be the star if he joins the team, and playing next to his brother is also motivating.

His wage in Genoa was of 500.000 euros per year, and first he refused a 600.000 euros offer from Zaragoza, but now the new contract offer seems to have reached the player’s demands.
