Kanouté Joins Sevilla

Tottenham Hotspurs have sold Frederic Kanouté for 6.5 million euros, who signed a four year contract with Sevilla. The Malian international, who holds a French passport, will have a 25 million euros release clause.

Sevilla trainer Juande Ramos was looking for a strong tall striker, and with Kanouté’s arrival, he will see his needs fulfilled.

He was signed for his presence in the box and aerial prowess, which will complement with Saviola’s ability to play wide and provide him with crosses.

This way, Sevilla withdraw from the transfer market and consider to have completed the squad for next season.
