Woody finally ready for Debut

Ex Newcastle United defender Jonathan Woodgate, looks like he may be at long last ready to make his debut for Real Madrid. He has been included in Real’s squad for the game against Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Stars in the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy on Tuesday.

Real coach Luxemburgo stated:

"At the moment the plan is for Woodgate to play a game on Wednesday to help him build his confidence. I have not decided whether he will play tomorrow or not."

Woodgate moved to Madrid in a 20 million Euro deal last August, but a series of injuries have postponed his debut.
