Real Madrid 'steals' Brazilian Star

Real Madrid have signed a first option agreement with Sao paulo over Brazilian star Cicinho. The full back was very close to sign for Betis and Manchester United, but now Real Madrid have secured him.

'Los Merengues' have stolen Cìcero Joao de Cèzare, Cicinho, from Manchester United. They have signed a five-year deal in which they will get the full back if they pay 6 million euros. This way, the player remains in Sao Paulo until Madrid decide to land him.

He will soon get the Italian passport, so he will not be a foreigner.

Manchester United was the last team that tried to sign him, but their offer didn't meet Sao paulo's demands. The same happened with Betis, that were even closer to landing him earlier this summer.
