Parma confirm Liverpool interest

Serie A side Parma have confirmed that Liverpool are interested in signing their centre back Daniele Bonera. Sporting director Oreste Cinquini also confirmed that Parma were reluctant to sell a player they see as an asset telling GRT radio:

"The club's shareholders have told me not to sell him."

"But Liverpool are very interested right now.

"If an offer reaches a certain economic level then I will be obliged to inform the club officials of it."

Inter and Chelsea are also rumoured to be interested, but as things stand Liverpool are currently favourites, to land the player, should he indeed decide to move.
