Real: No Juve Move for Salgado

Spanish giants Real Madrid have denied claims that Micheal Salgado will join Juventus on loan in January.

Cicinho is expected to challenge Salgado for a starting place when he arrives from Brazil in January, and rumours have been that Salgado will leave for Juventus on loan.

 

Real Madrid have been quick to deny the rumours, insisting he will not be loaned to the Italian-giants.

 

A club statement read:

 

"Real Madrid and Michel Salgado deny that they have spoken about the move of this player to Juventus at the end of December,"

 

"Despite the reports that have appeared in the English and Italian media, which include alleged declarations from the player about a loan move, we would like to make it clear that he made no such comments and the club is not considering loaning him to another team."
