New DOF explains Spurs move

The new director of football at Spurs Damien Comolli has been explaining his move to White Hart Lane. He was of course a gunner scout for a few years, but this was not a factor in his decision as he explains:

"Spurs have won more European trophies than all the French clubs put together."

"That gives you an idea of how big this club is. The ground is full every game - it is a massive club.

"I don't know if it will be an advantage to Spurs but I will bring in my network of people.

"I have great admiration for Arsene Wenger and everyone else I have worked with.

"He was not surprised when I came here but he congratulated me.

"I'm joining to improve the club however I can. We'll know how successful I am in three years."
