Roberto Carlos to Qatar?

Real Madrid’s full back has received a huge offer from a Qatari team and may leave next season. The legend defender would receive 21 million euros during three years and another 12 million euros would be spent on activating his release clause.

Real Madrid’s position towards the rumour is still unknown, as it is said that they want both to keep him for now, but also they are looking for a replacement. It has not been denied the fact that Real Madrid is very interested in Arsenal’s Ashley Cole for this.

The idea of Roberto Carlos leaving is not new, it has been on the directives’ mind since last summer and it is now taking shape with this bid. But this news has not been taken with delight in Brazil, as it is suspected that the team waited for their defender to travel for the international matches to make the story public.
