Manchester United in for Valencia ace?

Manchester United are reportedly lining up a bid for Valencia full back Fabio Aurelio. By their own standards Man Utd are having a difficult time of late, struggling in the league and Europe this week.

They will be without Gabriel Heinze who will miss the rest of the season with an injury and they see Aurelio as the ideal replacement for the injured Argentinian.

Aurelio is out of contract at Valencia come the summer, and despite Valencia being keen to hang on to their star, they would rather cash in in January than see him leave for free in the summer.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror Aurelio said:

"My agent is taking the offer very seriously.

" Aurelio is quoted in the Daily Mirror.

"United are a great club and any player would want to join them."
