Another doubt for Newcastle United

Dyer may have broken down again, which lets face matters is not entirely a surprise, and 20 minutes a month is about his average, but more worryingly it looks like Newcastle could be without the services of Charles N'Zogbia tomorrow, as they look to continue their recent good run.

N'Zogbia has spent several days in France mourning the loss of his father and was only picked up from the airport this morning prompting compassionate words from Souness:

"All our sympathy has gone out to Charles following the sudden death of his father back in France.”

"Obviously he hasn't trained much this week, and we'll leave the final decision as to whether he plays or not against Birmingham tomorrow with him.

"We'll go along with whatever he decides."

N’Zogbia has bee one of the stars of the season for me at Newcastle, but just occasionally some things transcend football, so he should be allowed the time he needs to come to terms with his loss.
