Manchester City to give Finn another chance

Manchester Cite are to give 26-year-old Tuomas Haapala another week to prove himself to boss Stuart Pearce, after he has impressed during his brief time with the club.

Haapala was expected to travel to Vicenza in Italy for a trial but has decided to stay in England saying:

"Vicenza have already offered me a contract but when City wanted to keep me I didn't need to think twice about it."
