Czech star to Spain?

Borussia Dortmund’s Tomas Rosicky has agreed on a 4-year contract with Atlético de Madrid, that now must negotiate with the German club. While Borussia is asking for no less than 15 million euros, Atlético will offer 10 millions for the Czech international, who is in trouble and desires to leave.

After some recent controversial statements, Rosicky has ignited the fans’ and teammates’ anger and is now suffering heavy criticism. This uncomfortable situation has moved him to look for new horizons and is now eager to leave Germany.

Atlético de Madrid had tried to lure him last season, so the first step had already been taken. Now that Rosicky wants to leave, the two sides reached an agreement over and the negotiations between both teams will follow.

Borussia wants 15 million euros, as they have paid a lot more than that when they first bought him and the coach Bert Van Marwijk considers the midfielder to be very important for his team. Atlético is willing to offer up to 10 million euros, and they are ready to hold a negotiation that could turn out to be similar to the one for Martin Petrov, in which the player had to give up his share of the deal.
