Red card to Ref strike.

A threatened strike by Spanish referees has been called off at the last minute after football authority’s guaranteed immediate payment of overdue salaries.

Now I realise on football site sympathy for referees will not come naturally, but really have you ever stopped to think what a difficult job the man in the middle has.

First you have 22 nancy boys running around you trying to hog all of the attention of the TV cameras that you know by right is naturally yours.

Then you have to pretend sympathy with one of the afore mentioned 22, when they have preformed a triple summersault from falling over an invisible pin, sympathy which has to be given to a man remember that is making about 30 times your annual salary every 10 seconds.

And of course all this is not to mention the penalty area, which in the modern game is a combination of RADA and the Bermuda triangle, you know there is something mysterious happening in there, your just buggerd if you can work out what it is.

Dress the man like a prat, remember to throw in a dysfunctional childhood, due to disputed parentage, add the eyesight of a myopic mole and you have a top flight referee.

So its time to stop being so hard on the man in the middle, stop shouting abuse at these poor underpaid drama queens, remember its not like they can see as far as your seat anyway.

And remember the three basic rules of refereeing.

1) Always make sure you are centre of attention.

2) Never retract your decision or change your mind despite it being blatantly
obvious to the rest of the world your wrong.

3) And finally always, and I mean always give Manchester United that dodgy
decision.
