Cassano in Real bye

Four months after this writer stated in an almost Nostradamus like prediction mode, that his move to Spain would be a mistake, Antonio Cassano is being linked with a move back to Serie A.

Inter Milan are the club said to be interested in giving a home to le’infant terrible, with reports suggesting that they have already made contact with Madrid.

Having just found the net once and only been given a handful of appearances in Spain it has hardly been a glorious move for the once golden boy of Italian football.

And it looks likely to have ruined his hopes for a place in the world cup, which is really a shame, because an unpleasant and petulant attitude aside, Cassano is for me the most naturally talented Italian playing the game today.
