Liverpool star gets world cup call up

He scored in the FA cup final and now to cap off what must have been a great weekend for Liverpool striker Djibril Cissé, he has been added to the French World Cup squad.

Cissé, had been worried that a lack of consistent first team appearances for Liverpool this season, may see him overlooked have been unrealised as he takes his place on the flight to Germany.

Not so lucky is former Liverpool and Arsenal star Nicholas Anelka, who has been overlooked for the third successive time.
