Dave Knight Suspended for eight weeks

Pertemp Bees will be with out Dave Knight for the next seven weeks after his appeal against his original supension has failed this week.

A three man Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel met at the Holiday Inn in Coventry to review his appeal, against a suspension imposed by an RFU panel in November for dangerously tackling Waterloo's Jan De Venter.

Knight has been suspended for eight weeks but will be able to play for Pertemp bees on the 6th March 2007 as he has already served one week of his initial suspension
