I definitely felt like we deserved more out of this game. Unfortunately it's all too easy to blame the ref on this one - and despite his decisions falling badly for both sides, I felt that he allowed bedford to regain the initiative after we'd gone 18-8 up, and that pretty much passed the game back their way.

However, we can't but help look at the positives. The side played well against a Bedford team that may would have expected to put 50 past us. That never looked like it would be the case, and we fought hard and managed to keep our discipline. We gave away too many easy penalties in the first half, but once that had been communicated to the players it tightened up.

Looking forward to Nottingham on Friday.
